What is a domain name?
Dec 6th
Number of View: 498
To make it simple, a domain name is the website/homepage internet address. For example, www.kkboss.com . The “kkboss.com” is the domain name. the “www” in front of the domain name simply means “World wide Web”…or “this is a website”.
In the domain name, the “.com” is the TLD…or Top Level Domain. There are many TLD, such as “.net”, “.org”, “.asia”, “.edu”, etc. Many countries have cTLD too, such as “.com.my” is for Malaysia, “.edu.sg” is for Singapore…and so on.
So a domain name is a unique name plus TLD/cTLD. A website URL can be either www.kkboss.com or kkboss.com, More >
