CD or DVD show the message “Data error (cyclic redundancy check)”
When you burn a CD or DVD, you get a “Cyclic Redundancy Check” error message when you want to open a file inside the CD / DVD. But the CD/DVD has no scratches or dirts, so why is this happening? How to read the contents of the CD / DVD ?
A “Cyclic Redundancy Check”, or “CRC”, is an error detection mechanism that makes sure that the data you’re trying to read from media, such as hard disks, CDs and DVDs, is actually correct.
Solution:
Very easy. Open the CD/DVD in another computer CD / DVD drive. Most of the time, new laptop’s DVD drive able to read these kinds of CRC problem.
